You Don’t Have to “Move On”
You spent so much time thinking about getting pregnant.
The appointments. The waiting. The decisions. The hope. The disappointment. The constant negotiation with your body, your relationship, and the future you imagined.
And now you may be asking a different question: What happens to my life when fertility is no longer the center of it?
Maybe you’ve stopped trying. Maybe treatment has ended. Maybe you’re taking a break. Maybe you’re still uncertain about what you want.
Whatever your circumstances, you may find yourself grieving something that doesn’t have a simple name.
Fertility challenges can change much more than your plans for having children. They can affect how you see yourself, your relationship with your body, your sexuality and intimacy, your partnership, your friendships, your relationship with other people’s pregnancies and children, and your sense of what your future is supposed to look like.
There can be grief alongside relief. Anger alongside gratitude. Hope alongside the desire to finally stop hoping.
You don’t have to resolve those contradictions before you can move forward. This group is about making space for all of it—and beginning to imagine a life that feels meaningful on your own terms.

This Is for You If…
You’ve experienced fertility challenges and are at a transition point.
You’ve stopped or completed fertility treatment, or are considering whether to continue.
You’re struggling with the emotional aftermath of trying to conceive.
You feel like other people don’t quite understand what you’re going through.
You want space to talk about identity, relationships, sexuality, grief, and the future—not just fertility.
You’re ready to begin thinking about what’s next, even if you don’t know what that looks like yet.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t even need to know exactly what you want. You just need to be willing to explore.
What the Group Is Like
This is a small, confidential, facilitated group with 6–8 participants. Each 75-minute session includes:
A grounding check-in. A chance to arrive and notice where you are.
Brief teaching & reflection. I’ll introduce concepts and questions drawn from psychology, relationships, identity, and wellbeing.
Facilitated conversation. Time to share, listen, reflect, and connect with others who have lived through similar experiences.
A take-away practice. A simple reflection or exercise to continue the conversation between sessions.
You won’t be asked to share anything you’re not ready to share. And you won’t be given a script for how you’re “supposed” to feel.
Meet Your Facilitator
Shula Melamed, MA, MPH, NBCHWC
I’m a relationship and wellbeing coach who helps people navigate the places where identity, relationships, communication, sexuality, and life transitions intersect. My approach is grounded in psychology and behavioral science, but it’s also deeply human. I don’t believe we need to optimize our way out of difficult experiences. Sometimes the work is learning how to stay curious, connected, and present while figuring out what comes next.
